Modern routines can feel full but not fulfilling
Days slip by in front of screens, connection feels thin, and the pace makes it hard to feel present in your own life.

What you’re really craving is simpler...
• Mornings that start with movement, good food, and people you actually enjoy sharing life with.
• Online work with jungle backgrounds and soundtracks.
• A daily rhythm that slows your nervous system rather than pulling it apart.
• A place where you can express who you really are, and connect with others in authenticity.
• The feeling of belonging that comes from sharing meals, tending to land, and creating together.
• A life where presence, creativity, and community are not weekend luxuries but part of every day.
THE IMMERSION
A guided month of regenerative living designed to reset your daily rhythm, reintroduce community into your life and support your remote work sustainably.

For four weeks, you step into a structured environment built for grounded daily living. Your work may continue, but the pace and setting shift. Days are shaped by simple routines, shared meals, hands-on time with the land and moments of reflection that bring your attention back into your body.
You live alongside a small group of people who are also recalibrating how they work and live. Community forms through shared responsibilities, creative projects and the natural rhythm of being in the same place with intention.
Throughout the month, you learn regenerative practices by doing real, tangible work with the land. You also build habits that support focus, sustainability and a more human way of being.

THE RHYTHM
OF THE MONTH
A simple four-part structure that guides your progression from settling in to integrating lasting change.
1
REGENERATIVE COMMUNITY
Arrival and settling into shared living
You begin by getting oriented on the land, the rhythm, meeting the group and creating the community foundation for the month. Through daily shared moments, simple responsibilities and intentional interactions, you establish trust and ease. This grounding makes the deeper work of the later weeks possible.
2
REGENERATING THE SELF
A slower more inward rhythrm
Returning attention to your mind, your body, your soul and inner rhythm. Once you’ve landed, the pace slows. This week focuses on rest, movement and personal reflection. You learn how to regulate your energy, listen to your needs and rebuild a more honest relationship with yourself.
3
REGENERATING THE LAND
Hands-on learning through practical regenerative work
You spend structured time working with the land through guided regenerative practices. By learning through doing, you develop a direct, embodied understanding of care, stewardship and the interdependence between yourself, your actions and your environment.
4
INTEGRATION
Bringing your personal, communal and practical learnings together
The final week pulls everything together. You reflect on what you’ve learned, clarify the practices and values you want to keep and prepare how to carry the experience back into your next chapter. This is where the immersion becomes a lasting change.

THE LOCATION

About Protopia
Your home for the month, an off-grid regenerative farm and intentional community in northern Costa Rica.
Protopia is a living sanctuary where people and nature meet simply and honestly. The land holds thriving ecosystems, fresh water, and open spaces to slow down, reconnect, and breathe—guided by authenticity, spirituality, and a deep respect for the earth.
Life here follows the rhythm of the land. We farm organically, build naturally, and work with biodynamic, syntropic, and permaculture practices. Solar power sustains us, and gravity-fed springs and rivers provide clean water.
Forests, springs, and two rivers cross the property, with small waterfalls just a short walk away. Nearby towns—La Cabanga, San Rafael de Guatuso, and Nuevo Arenal—offer markets, clinics, and everyday essentials.
Protopia is cared for by local farmers, long-term stewards, and residents from around the world. Together, they create a simple, grounded home in nature—one where transformation feels real and everyone is welcome.

“I went to Nomad Farm because I was overwhelmed in the city. I craved a change of scenery, routine, and the people around me. My expectations were to rest and connect with nature, but I gained much more. I made friends, connected with myself deeply, and learned about living in a sustainable community.”
